For over two decades, Principal Kevin Armshaw has cultivated meaningful relationships with visionary leaders across the mission-driven sector. It was from this foundation of trust and shared vision that TAG-Strategies was launched.
Our origin was driven by a clear purpose: to empower faith-based, small, and mid-sized organizations with cost-effective, scalable philanthropic education and strategic guidance. We saw that smaller organizations often lacked access to institutional-caliber expertise, and we set out to bridge that gap.

Leadership
Kevin Armshaw
Kevin Armshaw is a strategic architect of non-profit growth, bringing over 20 years of expertise in fundraising strategy, capital campaigns, and organizational development. As the founder of TAG-Strategies, Kevin specializes in "fractional development"—providing high-level executive leadership to organizations navigating critical transitions or scaling for sustainability.
Strategic Consulting & Organizational Development Kevin’s consulting work is characterized by rapid, high-impact execution. He revitalized a $25 million capital campaign for Franciscan University, securing $7.5 million in just 60 days. As Advancement Director for the Institute for Priestly Formation (IPF), he grew annual giving by 41% and increased the donor base by 79%, allowing the Institute to focus on its spiritual mission.
Global & Institutional Leadership Kevin’s track record is defined by his ability to orchestrate complex partnerships at the intersection of philanthropy, government, and faith communities. As Executive Director at CCS Fundraising, he directed the $75 million Imagine No Malaria initiative, coordinating with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the United Nations Foundation to deliver life-saving interventions across Africa.

Whether mentoring emerging organizations through growth transitions or pioneering breakthrough approaches to fractional development, Kevin helps nonprofits achieve their full potential for social good.
Kevin is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and serves as a founding board member of Three Ten Ministries. He resides in Columbus, Ohio.
